Kingston {Newport Portraits}

Meet the adorable little Kingston! We did his newborn portraits in the studio at 3 weeks old. His room is decorated with an airplane theme so his mother found a cute little aviator hat for a wall portrait in his room. He had the most precious little pouty baby lips!

Abigail + Ryan {Louisville Engagement Session}

Sometimes I have couples that need extra help looking great in front of the camera…but Abigail and Ryan were not one of those couples! So cute, and obviously in love, they made creating fun and romantic portraits an easy task. I can’t wait until their wedding day this spring. I know we’ll have a great time and capture some fabulous images!

Samantha + Robbie {Lakeside Reflections Wedding Photos}

Samantha and Robbie had their wedding on a beautiful sunny day at Lakeside Reflections in Jeffersonville, IN.  I love the colors of a fall themed wedding and the fabulous ladies at Lakeside did an amazing job with the decor.

It’s always great to have a fun wedding party who’s willing to do just about anything!  I was a little nervous for them to get up on the rocks but they promised they wouldn’t fall 🙂  Samantha and Robbie decided to see each other before the wedding so we were able to get some really great photos.  We definitely would not have gotten them if we waited until after the ceremony because it got really cold really fast!   We also managed to squeeze in some photos at dusk, one of my favorite times to shoot!  I love the balance of ambient light and sky light at that time of the evening.

The cake was made by Samantha’s mom.  Not only was it absolutely gorgeous, but the smell of the Strawberry and White chocolate completely filled the room!  It almost made it hard to concentrate.  I don’t normally get a chance to eat cake, but I made a special effort this time.
