SmugMug Photoshop Demonstration

Last night I spoke at the Louisville SmugMug Pro Group on Photoshop. We had large crowd with pretty varied experience levels, but hopefully everyone was able to get at least a little something out of it
As promised, here is the list of my favorite shortcuts. We didn’t get to discuss customizing them, so here is a link to a quick guide to customizing shortcuts.
Tammy’s Favorite Photoshop Shortcuts
Ctrl-D: Deselect
Ctrl-J: Duplicate layer
Ctrl-F (Customize this): Flatten
Ctrl-I: Invert (mask)
Ctrl- Shift-I: Invert Selection
Ctrl-Del: Fill with Background color
Alt-Click mask : show mask
B: Brush, [ ] Brush size, shift- [ ], brush softness
Alt-Click (using brush tool): Color Picker
Ctrl-Shift-Z: Undo Steps
Double click background layer – make it a regular layer
space bar – pan
Ctrl-minus/plus: zoom out and in
Ctrl-0:View All on screen
Ctrl-Alt-Shift-E: Duplicate visible to new layer.
Shift-Alt-plus: Cycle through blend modes
Ctrl-G: Groups selected layers
You can easily get a list of all 7 billion (give or take) keyboard shortcuts by going to File/Keyboard shortcuts, and then click on “Summarize”. This will generate a documents with all the assigned keyboard shortcuts.
